MIT Engineering

First he observed the world around him. Then he brainstormed and made a prototype. He tested his prototype and learned from it. His prototype didn't work so he started over. He made a better prototype and repeated the design process until he was happy with his product.

In class we do the same steps. We observe the problem, brainstorm, make prototype (mostly in Google SketchUp), and make our final design. We repeat the steps if our design doesn't work.
