Reverse Engineering

Reverse Engineering is the reproduction of another manufacturer's product following detailed examination of its construction or composition. By using reverse engineering we are able to learn how products are made and how they work.

Challenge: disassemble objects to learn more about how that object works

LIGHTBULB

This was before we dissasembled our lightbulb

We took apart every single piece of the lightbulb starting with the batteries, etc.

Afterward, we put the object back together.

TOY

We started by unskrewing the plastic body and then we opened up the gear box.
