Sailing Vessel
Research:
The goal: to create a sailing vessel that will go at least 10 feet, sail those 10 feet in the least amount of time, and take in the least amount of water.
This is our brainstorm:
We designed our idea in Google Sketch Up
We drew our model to scale in Sketch Up. We realized that we did not have enough room for three sails so we took the middle one out.
This slide show shows the materials that we were allowed to use as well as our building process
***While building, we realized that the required demensions would not allow us to put multiple sails on. So, we re-sketched our design and modeled it again in SketchUp.***
This is our finished boat.
Our boat ended up being too top heavy and fliped over when we tested it

We would put more weight on the base so it would not flip over!
